High-altitude training on the skating track

The skating track in the Kühtai High-Altitude Training Centre is unique and offers both inline skaters and speed skaters the possibility of high-altitude training at an elevation of over 2,000 metres above sea level.

Skating track - technical data

The training facility for inline skaters and speed skaters consists of a 200 metre-long elliptical track.

The curve radius averages at 18 metres (inner curve radius 16 metres, outer curve radius 20 metres). The high-altitude training track is 4 metres wide and has a fully tarmaced surface.
