Altitude training on the speed skating loop

The skating rink at HATC Kühtai is unique in its kind and permits inline skaters and speed skaters the possibility of a high-altitude training at over 2000 metres above sea level.

Specifications of the skating rink

The training facility for inline skaters and speed skaters consists of a 200 metre elliptical circuit. The curve radii are on average 18 metres (inner radius 16 metres, external radius 20 metres). For altitude training there is also a continuous paved 4 metres wide track available.
